Superior Situational Awareness

The HALO^® 5000 radar is designed to provide superior situational awareness for commercial vessels, keeping users safe in even the harshest environments.

The 130W pulse compression solid-state radar boasts superb visibility in all conditions. Cutting-edge Target Tracking allows users to automatically monitor thousands of radar targets within a 24NM zone, displaying as many as 100 of those targets on-screen simultaneously.

With an adapted transmission pulse burst scheme, an Advanced Performance Monitor device, and advanced technical manuals, HALO^® 5000 meets and exceeds IMO requirements.

Lower Cost

As a solid-state radar sensor, HALO^® 5000 boasts significantly lower cost of ownership than traditional magnetron radars. The state-of-the-art, compact design ensures reliability, availability, and serviceability of the HALO® 5000 throughout its lifespan, in all operating conditions.

The simplified connectors of the pre-wired thin power and ethernet cable contribute further to the easy, low-cost installation and future servicing.

Broad Compatibility

For the first time ever, the lightweight HALO^® 5000 is available in both 4ft and 6ft antenna options, providing the choice of 22 or 44RPM speeds on either 24VDC or 230VAC power supply.

The radar’s modular design means it slots seamlessly into our existing R5000 system configuration. Employing an Antenna Park Hold, Halo^® 5000 can either be assembled to form a standalone single radar system, or as part of an advanced networked multi-installation radar system, alongside additional X- and S-band SRT LAN radar sensors.
